Dear Parent/Carer

In response to feedback from our successful Participation and Information Day in March 2014 we listened to what you wanted and are planning three events for 2015, one in each area of the county.

This will be a co-produced Event with members of the SEN team from your area you will have opportunity to meet with Educational Psychologists, Integrated Assessment Team and others.

Lunch is provided so if you fancy meeting up with other Parent Carers it’s a great opportunity to network and perhaps go away having made a new friend.

Central: 26th January 2015 at Woodlands, Chorley

East: 28th January 2015 at Towneley City Learning Centre, Burnley

North: 5th February 2015 at Garstang Golf Club, Garstang

We need to ensure that we have a minimum of 50 parents at each event to be able to run it. If you are able to join us please support us by “saving the date” and expressing interest in the event you wish to attend. Please note that this does not have to be the event closest to where you live.

Booking arrangements and more details about the events will be made available as soon as possible.

To register your interest Click here! Alternatively e-mail your name, contact details and your choice of event to:

This does not commit you to attending but we do hope that you will be able to join us.

With best wishes

About Us

We're a group of parents and those working with deaf children who want a better deal for deaf children and their families.

We feel that it is helpful to come together to share information and meet others in the same position because by coming together we are able to give support and swap ideas.

At Fylde DCS, you'll find both deaf and hearing parents with a wealth of experience of deafness. They may have experienced some of the difficulties you may be facing. We may be able to help or, if not, we can put you in touch with others who can.
