Does your child want to improve their swimming skills and make new friends?

NDCS, in partnership with Trafford Community Leisure Trust are holding deaf-friendly swimming for deaf children and young people in the North West!

·         Deaf-Friendly Swimming

·         Partington Sports Village, Chapel Lane, Manchester M31 4ES

·         Starting 12 June

·         Fridays, 12 week course

·         Beginners 4pm – 4.45pm

·         Intermediate/Advanced 4.45pm – 5.30pm

·         Variety of age groups*

·         Cost of 12 week course: £57.60

The activities are suitable for all abilities from complete beginners to competitive swimmers. Young people will take part in fun activities and learn new skills, delivered by fully qualified, deaf aware swimming teachers.

*Please note: All ages are welcome to attend the sessions, however should we be oversubscribed places will be prioritised for deaf young people aged 11+.

About Us

We're a group of parents and those working with deaf children who want a better deal for deaf children and their families.

We feel that it is helpful to come together to share information and meet others in the same position because by coming together we are able to give support and swap ideas.

At Fylde DCS, you'll find both deaf and hearing parents with a wealth of experience of deafness. They may have experienced some of the difficulties you may be facing. We may be able to help or, if not, we can put you in touch with others who can.
